Setting out from Quakers Walk near the Kennet & Avon Canal, the route of approximately 8 miles is mostly off-road, a mix of undulating and hilly terrain with breathtaking views and dominated by the climb up Roundway Hill.
From there the route winds itself around the top of the hill before dropping down a steep decline and then back up and around Oliver's Camp. A short, technical run through the nature trail will then see you down onto a small section of road before heading to the finish at the Sports Club.
The finish is an easy view for spectators so lots of cheering to be heard to help you over that line :-)
